This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'm not sure I'd be able to give you a solid answer for that. I do like them because they're so alien looking, but I have other creatures hanging on my walls and only a small section of my book collection includes the fishes. I think my first fish painting was a coelacanth on a bicycle - I may have thought this was funny at the time. Along with different kinds of fish, I ended up painting a bunch of other animals on bicycles to fill a growing demand at the restaurants I was showing them in. When I did the Fish-Pastiche series, I was just trying to stick with one theme for a show...and I had to paint them really fast because of the deadline for that show. I guess you can call it a slight obsession, but I'm glad to hear this is for a humor in art study - I mostly just enjoy painting something with the intent of whimsy or ridiculousness. Thanks for asking!
